This presentation gives an overview of Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy and potential means of monitoring it. Specifically zeroes in optical monitoring, its advantages and developmental challenges. This presentation gets into some details of Point Radiance Spectroscopy for Multi-Wavelength optical property determination with a directional probe. Appendix includes scanning and near infrared techniques as well as some mathematical modeling.
