Bright Field Illumination Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Rotifera Bdelloid rotifer Organism commonly found in fresh water. Common in ponds and on mosses, are soft-bodied, and have leech-like movements. In the picture the corona is retracted. Note the projected structure, called rostrum, with bright red eyes.
