Description: Dynamic imaging of the fluorescence from ALA-PpIX in the prostate at time of surgery. ALA (aminolevulinic acid) enhances the production in cells of the fluorescent molecule protoporphyrin IX, which is then imaged using a 3-color CCD camera attached to a rigid endoscope.
