Atmospheric Absorption

This site explains atmospheric absorption, what causes it and how it helps the earth. It also gives links explaining reflection, scattering and transmission.

Refraction and Reflection of Light Applet

This applet is a simplistic tutorial about the affects of changing the media (n) in which light passes through and the resulting changes in the angle of incidence, reflection, or refraction.

Optigami

Optical ray tracing using origami. This use of Origami allows you to mimick what happens to light rays when interacting with mirrors. Computer ray-tracing simulations now do this but the paper approach is still a quick way of thinking of simpler optical setups.
