PinPointe USA Inc., a medical laser company, has received a new round of venture capital to continue its marketing and development domestically and spur growth internationally.
Founded in Chico in 2004, PinPointe is developing foot-care therapies. It’s main business is using lasers to treat onychomycosis, a toenail fungus that affects more than 8 percent of adults. Pharmaceutical treatment of the fungus is often ineffective and takes more than a year.
