The “Laboratorio de Optica de la Universidad de Murcia” (LO•UM) is one of the world leaders research groups in Visual Optics, biomedical applications of Adaptive Optics and Biophotonics. The lab is based in a new building and equipped with state of the art technology for advanced experiments: deformable mirrors, spatial light modulators, femtosecond lasers. The lab has strong connections with the international ophthalmic industry. This provides an excellent opportunity for post-docs.
Candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Optics, Electrical engineering or a related topic. Being fluent in Spanish is not a requirement. The salary will be in accordance with University of Murcia rates. Candidates should be nationals of the European Union or allowed to apply for a work VISA in Spain.
