Research opportunities exist for a Research Technologist to develop clinical research skills and to participate in multidisciplinary collaborative research programs. The specific aims of the projects can be tailored to meet different specific goals, which will provide an opportunity to build research and publication experience. The positions will involve the validation of new diagnostic methods using in vitro and in vivo clinical studies. We have ongoing studies in several clinical fields including gastroenterology, cardiology, otolaryngology, and pathology.
The Wellman Center for Photomedicine is located on the campus of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and is a unique environment that integrates basic science, engineering and medicine. The academic core of Wellman is composed of faculty of Harvard Medical School and MIT. The Wellman Center provides an excellent forum for interaction with clinicians and medical scientists.
