This course is offered through the following master's program: Molecular Nano- and Biophotonics for Telecommunications and Biotechnologies (MONABIPHOT) In this course students learn about : - molecular spectroscopy and its implications in molecular symmetries - nonlinear optics : a quantum mechanical approach of multiphotonic processes - nonlinear optics : propagation aspects, phase matching, parametric and Pockels effects - orientation processes in molecular materials : electric- and optical field poling processes.
